NewsGator Toolbar Beta
Just found out that NewsGator has a Toolbar in beta to download. Not another toolbar you might think. But for me it's great. I am running FeedDemon for all my RSS feeds, and I really like that app. But one thing that's bothered me a bit, is that I had no way to subscribe from IE to FeedDemon (not OOB anyhow). Clicking the Subscribe button in IE made me subscribe to the channel in IE, and I don't want 2 places for my RSS subscriptions, and neither do I want to read my RSS in IE.
With the toolbar I now have a button to subscribe directly to FeedDemon, and a couple of other pretty cool features to use for those who have a NewsGator account.
As you can see on the screenshot above you also have a search function, which enables you to search for example 'Community Server' and get a list of different RSS channel on the topic.
Also in the search results list you can view information about the channel, i.e. how many NewsGator subscriber it has, and select a couple of the channels to subscribe to them directly from the search results list.
A really cool and useful toolbar for me anyway. Worth taking up some space in my IE. The toolbar is also available for FireFox users in the same download.
Need I say that this post was made in Windows Live Writer? 
No I didn't think so.
