Brought my camera to work today. Wanted to show it to a college who is also interested in photography. On the way to work I found this scene.

This is one evening in March near Slussen (The Sluice) in Stockholm. It is taken with ISO 6400. Converted to black & white in Silver Efex.

Boat by the pier at Slussen in Stockholm
At the end of January 2013 we had a very cold day in Stockholm. I was still out with my camera of course, freezing my fingers off. There was a wonderful sunshine from a low sun that made the light a bit magic. This is one of many pictures from that day.
Processed mainly in Nik’s Silver Efex Pro.

On a cold day
In the top of the picture, above the valves (or what they should be called), is the so called Lynx’s stairs. Converted this one to black & white in Silver Efex Pro. Made some further adjustments in Lightroom.

Lokattens trappor
I took this one in the beginning of December 2012. I had a lunch meeting to go to, but as usual I was a bit early to that appointment. So I thought I would walk around and take some photos. It was one of those really cold days this winter. I walked from Stockholm’s Old Town and up on Katarinavägen when I saw this view. I took the picture with my Nikon Coolpix P7000 that I had brought with me.
Editing as usual made in Photoshop and Lightroom, with some adjustments in Nik Software plugins, blended together.

A ship leaving the harbor
A few days before Christmas last year, I was out walking with my camera. It started to snow quite a bit. Big snow flakes falling from the sky. The ground was still free from snow, as the snow flakes melted as soon as they hit the ground. I came by this bar which was open though it was still early day. Since you are not allowed to smoke inside in public places in Sweden, a bunch of people had gone outside in the snowy weather for a while to get a smoke. That’s when a captured this picture of them and the bar in the background.
The processing is made in both Color Efex and Silver Efex. Some adjustments are also made in Lightroom. It is taken with my FujiFilm XE-1 camera.

Green’s Bar in Sundbyberg
This picture was taken during a very cold day in Stockholm. The temperature drop was a bit sudden, and there was still no ice on the water. Probably because the water was so much warmer than the air, there was this smoke on the surface of the water. The boat is a ferry that travels from old town in Stockholm to Djurgården, where in summer time, there is among other things, a big amusement park.
I have used different plugins from Nik Software for the processing, together with Photoshop and Lightroom.

Ferry to Djurgården
This evening I was looking through some “old” pictures from late last year. One of those I found is shown in this post. It was taken with a camera that I since have sold. The Nikon Coolpix P7000.
Edited in Photoshop with plugins from Nik Software.
